What is an ADHD coach?

ADHD Coaches are, first and foremost, ICF approved life coaches with specific training and expertise in coaching people affected by ADHD.

What is ADHD Coaching?

It is an individually based, action-oriented partnership. We work together to build skills, improve daily functioning, and enhance your quality of life through an ADHD-informed lens.

How does it work?

The process combines three key elements:

  1. Coaching: We identify your goals and provide structure and accountability.
  2. Skills Coaching: We create customized strategies leveraging your strengths and addressing challenges.
  3. Education: We explore how ADHD impacts your life and provide relevant tools and resources.

What does research tell us about ADHD Coaching?

A recent review of research on ADHD coaching indicates that ADHD coaching contributes positively to improved functioning in individuals with ADHD across the age span. Numerous, varied studies examined diverse outcomes of coaching for ADHD, and their findings showed that ADHD coaching can improve ADHD symptoms, executive function related behaviours, self-esteem, well-being and quality of life.
